Scared of getting old!

If I tell you that every moment I think of getting as old as my grandma I shudder, will you believe me? Yes, that is me! The thought of I one time having my smooth cheeks wrinkled makes my heart pound faster than before.

Even with all my beauty, gorillas and chimpanzees to attract tourists to Kenya. Isn’t it funny? You can even imagine when the sons of men are busy salivating; the beautiful ones are not yet born. But other appearances are wearing out.Yes, it is a world of vanities.

When I look at my wrinkled but beautiful grandma, I can’t imagine that at one time in her life, she was once the queen of a bevy of beautiful girls. Young girls that a gang of gentlemen could dare tear their shirts for. Yes, she was, but now? She once left the sons of Adam salivating while escorting her with their bedroom eyes. This was with her jargon walking styles of her time.

Every time I wake up and see the sun creep out of its hideout, the jealousy in me grows and ooh! If only could stop it there! But days and years are passing by just like the waters of a river. I’m not getting any younger, and my basket is full of subscribed numbers of age. Soon I will be wrinkled, and the children of my children will call me grandma. What a funny world? Just vanity!

I still wish could be young but no, even all the beautiful mamas walking around with sticks were once babies. Yes! Little babies, who crawled and cried for mama’s milk, attracted men but now? They once had their say!
